The City of Edgerton Missouri
The edge of Platte County
Mt. Zion Baptist Church, founded in 1885, is at 5705 Highway Z, just west of Edgerton.
Mt. Zion exists to unite people to God and others. “We’re a country church that wants to love and serve the community where God has placed us.”
When you attend Mt. Zion, you’ll find a friendly congregation that is working to love God and love their community. That’s Mt. Zion’s focus – helping people unite with God and others on the journey through life.
Another of Mt. Zion’s goals is to raise a generation of children that love the Lord and others. The Bible says that as a boy, Jesus “grew in wisdom and stature, and favor with God and man.” Mt. Zion’s desire is to help kids do the same. The Mt. Zion Children’s Ministry is dedicated to helping children learn about Jesus Christ, know Him personally, grow in His likeness, and live for Him. That vision is pursued in partnership with each of the families who attend Mt. Zion. Children’s Church, AWANAs and the 180 Youth Group are part of Mt. Zion’s focus on children and teens.
The Pastor and congregation invite you to join them.
