Emergency Medical Services

Two ambulance districts serve the Edgerton area, with emergency medical personnel from the Edgerton-Trimble Fire Protection District providing rapid first response on all calls for service within their district boundaries.

Within the city of Edgerton, Tri-County Ambulance District provides advanced life support emergency medical services 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. TCAD’s headquarters are in Plattsburg, MO. Northland Regional Ambulance, with stations in Dearborn, Platte City and Smithville, also provides advanced life support emergency medical services around the clock. They serve portions of rural Edgerton, most of which lie to the south and west of Edgerton’s south city limits. They also provide mutual aid response to Tri-County Ambulance when needed.
