Mid-Continent Public Library

Are you here for storytime? This furry friend who visited Edgerton’s public library is one of many which can be seen throughout the year. Isn’t country life grand?

There’s always something fun going on at the Edgerton Branch of the Mid-Continent Public Library. From weekly Family Story Time, to frog jumping contests and hatching chicks from eggs, and learning to decorate cakes – children of all ages are sure to find something entertaining and educational at the library.

Mid-Continent’s mission is to provide expanding access to materials, programs, technology, and a world-class genealogy and family history library.

Regularly-scheduled events held at the Edgerton branch are:
Storytime: Wednesdays at 10 a.m.
Adult Book Club: First Friday of the month at 10 a.m.
North Platte Jr. High Teen Book Club: Last Thursday of the month at 2:52 p.m. in the North Platte Jr. High Library (Dates subject to change).
North Platte High School Teen Book Club: Last Thursday of the month at 11:45 a.m. in the North Platte High School Library (Dates subject to change).

The library is at 404 Frank St., right across from the Edgerton City Hall. They are open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. every Monday; from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays.
